Privacy

With the following data protection guidelines we will explain, which personal data we collect about you when you visit this website:

We only collect and store personal data according to the following explanations:

If personal data (such as name, organization, address or e-mail address) are collected on our pages – especially for contact -, this is done voluntary. However, some data may be required for your request and marked with a “*”.

Your data will be kept confidential by us, will only be used to process your request and will not be transferred to third persons. The Website is hosted on an intern server of the HZDR.

Data transmissions to government agencies and authorities are only required under mandatory legislation.

Logging/Cookies

When you visit this homepage, we do not collect and store any personal data for logging or analysis of our users (unlike most of the other websites).

In our website we use so-called session cookies for the Math Captcha in our “contact”. This is to ensure that the requestor is a person and not an automatic program.

Cookies are small text files, which are stored on your hard disk only for the duration of your visit to our website and – depending on the setting of your browser program – are deleted after your browser is closed.

These cookies do not retrieve information stored on your hard drive and do not affect your PC or your files. Cookies do not contain viruses, trojans or other malicious applications.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the saving of cookies or set your browser to point you to the transmission of cookies.

Links

We use links on some of our websites. Please note that by clicking on the link, you are entering a different website with other data protection conditions. We have no influence on the data processing there.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (for example in the case of e-mail communication) may have security gaps. Access by third parties can not be completely excluded.

In all matters relating to the protection of your privacy you can contact our data protection officer:
